Well my new ipod is like frozen right now, it is on lock and when you turn it off it doesnt budge. I have it plugged into the computer but there wasnt any response to that any ideas?

Try restarting it using Menu and Center Button. If that does not restart it, let the battery die and recharge it from 0.
If all else fails, apple should be good on the warranty. Good Luck! |

For some bizzare reason, my iPod had the exact same problem when I first got it, as did my friend's. Since mine never turned off, I just left it alone until it ran out the battery; when I turned it back on, it was fine. Sorry I can't tell you what's wrong with it, but the good news is that it will probably fix itself.

try to press the middle and press the play for few sec ,then the ipod will switch off
