I Have tried switching analogue sticks with another psp, tried different firmware and also tried tightening screws!

Take it to a Sony Store and explain your problem, they should be able to fix it.

Make sure you're not touching it when you turn the system on. If you do it might think that is the center point and will push it up when you let go. If that makes sense...
